Thank you for sharing your experience and for the care you provide as part of our team. At AccentCare, many clinicians value the autonomy they have to structure their day and deliver patient-centered care. We also recognize that staffing levels and turnover can impact that experience. We’re actively addressing this by investing in hiring and retention efforts, including our Employee Referral Program, which offers bonuses up to $7,000 for hard-to-fill clinical and leadership roles. This helps to bring in more great teammates and strengthen local teams. For those wondering what it’s like to work at AccentCare, feedback like yours highlights both the independence clinicians can expect and the real challenges we continue working to improve. We appreciate you sharing your perspective—it helps us build a better experience for our teams and the patients we serve.

Pros

Schedule is flexible Pay is good No weekends

Cons

Driving distance is too much - 60miles from office and into Marble Falls. On call shift ( work all day and if primary on call is “busy” you work all night too) Doing an admission (3hrs minimum) at random times, even at night Micromanaging directors are the worse in any job. Health insurance is expensive

Thank you for sharing your experience and for the care you provide to our patients. We’re glad you value the flexible schedule, pay, and weekend structure. We understand the challenges you mentioned around travel, on-call demands, and after-hours admissions. In hospice, we don’t get to choose when patients need care, and we know that can make scheduling and workload more difficult. We’re reinforcing with leaders the need to support clinicians with trust and respect. We also want to clarify that health insurance premiums begin at $14.06 per week for teammates who do not use tobacco or nicotine products, and we continue working to keep benefits competitive in a fast-changing world.
