Pros

Accenture offers market rate package with good medical, health, dental and vision benefits. Working time is quite flexible and chances to work with people from multiple nationality.

Cons

Most of the project in Accenture will require you to work a very long working hours. Minimum should be 50 hours per week. Promotion process is not transparent enough and it is not based on performance. Solution workforce will need longer time to reach management level.

Pros

Accenture Management Consulting offers employees a variety of experiences, the ability to accumulate plenty of reward points, a sharing environment, generally smart people, and a learning culture.

Cons

I left a middle-level career in financial services to "start over" in consulting; this may be due to the fact that I had analyst and consultant level employees that reported to me, but as an analyst, co-workers will assume you do not know a thing. I have learned to shut my mouth and listen as co-workers say things, that I know are b.s. (as is the nature of management consulting). I have yet to meet someone who really knows a thing about the financial services industry (beyond what they likely read in the Journal or some other periodical - sad seeing how we advise these companies).

Pros

Opportunities for professional training and conducting training is pretty good in the firm. The KX is full of excellent materials for leveraging on other engagements. The firm is really good in selling itself in these materials. Large client engagements. opportunities to work with snr execs of Tier 1 companies in all industries. the senior you in the firm the senior the exposure...i'm currently engaging with c-level execs for one of the leading financial services organisation in australia

Cons

It's primarily an American company i.e. i've yet to see non-american partners rising to C-level positions within the firm. So I dont have lots of confidence when they say that appointment of C-level positions are in the best of interest of the company. There are some really excellent partners more than capable outside NA that could lead the firm further up....pay is definitely lower than industry average....
