Pros

One of the highest-paying roles I've had in my 10+ years in commission-based sales. The company culture is incredible – truly the best I've experienced, especially when compared to my past roles with healthcare insurance companies. Excellent employee benefits that really prioritize well-being. Flexible schedules that allow for a great work-life balance, along with a solid number of paid holidays.

Cons

This role requires a genuine passion for sales and the drive to succeed. It's not for the faint of heart, and it can be demanding at times.

Smoke and Mirrors

Pros

Working from home is about it

Cons

This is a telemarketing job hidden behind a sales facade. The company is constantly seeking ways to decrease income by either decreasing bonuses or eliminating them altogether, cutting overtime, and downsizing. This is definitely a place where the favorites get the preferred/easier leads and therefore earn a higher income. Favoritism runs rampant through the sales department. Moved to a more competitive sales approach based on stack ranking and alpha scores. This wouldn’t be so bad if all things were equal, but they are not. The leads are very much controlled and manipulated to favor certain agents. The competitive system contradicts one of the company’s core values; collaboration. Hypocrisy is all over this organization and is part of the daily culture, especially in all levels of management. After time, this place will wear you down and depress you until you can’t take it anymore. The two faced standards and low income levels should be enough to keep you away. Don’t fall for their promises of high income. The debt relief division is not profitable and they have had to lay employees off and eliminate an entire sub division in the sales sector. Unless you can find your way to the top 10% of the sales floor this job is not worth it. Period!

Thank you for the feedback. We really do appreciate the information as we continue to evaluate and evolve our Debt Consultant Sales commission structure. We have been listening to our teammates and understand that some have been frustrated by the structure while many others have been very positive about the changes. Based on feedback, we implemented some additional improvements this month to help ensure our DCs have a very fair opportunity to be successful and are provided with extra training if they're experiencing challenges. I would love to hear more about your experience with us as it's certainly not reflective of the our culture and how we want our teammates to feel. Please feel free to reach out if you're open to discussing: hmarcom@achieve.com
