Pros

As a Reset Merchandiser, the hours were flexible. I enjoyed working with my direct supervisor. Although the basic work was the same, having a different set to do each day/week kept the job fresh and interesting.

Cons

Although an annual review was done every single year, there was never any pay increase for the entire 6 years I was employed. There was never any recognition for a job well done.

Pros

Flexibility to work from home on most days can be beneficial, however the pay-grade is lower than most competing companies.

Cons

Constant change in programs, and risk of losing employment due to location, not performance, is a high risk. I have worked for the company for 6 years and have seen people fired every year due to where they live. Most benefits have been cut over the years, and the ones that are still available are sub-par.

Pros

Experience & Networking - Acosta is a great place to gain experience and make connections. There are opportunities to work with some of the largest CPG companies in a variety of functions. Casual Environment - The atmosphere at Acosta is laid-back with a great work/life balance. People - Most employees and managers are very friendly and willing to help with any questions.

Cons

Salaries - Pay is lower than average for similar positions elsewhere. Communication - Like many other growing companies, there are communication issues between departments. Work Engagement - Some days it can feel as though you are just trying to prove Acosta's worth to clients rather than delivering value. Turnover - Every six months or so, there is a wave of people that leave the company for better opportunities.
