Pros

Well, the are minimal to say the least, but if I had to say something, I guess some of the people are nice & we all have something in common, a terrible place to work.

Cons

Low pay compared to the industry (go to a retailer or manufacturer and make twice as much), terrible benefits, clueless management, HR that is more like a basement run telemarketing company, no integrity (if you have integrity, be prepared to leave it at the door or be considered a trouble maker), management is in their positions due to long term relationships vs knowledge. If you are a OK with lying and presenting your services as something they are not, you are at the right place.

Pros

well, in this job market, it's a job. Sometimes you get freebies (usually expired or weird food). You can be totally incompetent and they won't fire you.

Cons

Very poor treatment by management. No communication whatsoever. Everyone tells you a different way to do your job, and if you do it wrong, you hear about it from all of them. When there are IT problems, no one updates you or tells you when it's down or fixed. It's a free-for-all. There's an enormous amount of gossip and favoritism. How do you get a job here? Know someone. How do you move up? Know someone and suck up as hard as you can. Right now there is a pay freeze. Even when they did offer annual raises, the average was about 1%. I almost feel better not getting insulted with their BS raises. But don't let the starting wage fool you--the lack of benefits is like a pay decrease! and you'll never make any more money. You don't get good feedback on a job well done, but you definitely hear it when you mess up. Management goes out of their way to let you know that you're replaceable. If you make any attempt to convince them otherwise, they target you as a "troublemaker" and do whatever they can to make your life at work hell. They feel the need to "break" you. I know a lot of people say that there's a lot of gossip at their work and that it's like high school, but from the bottom of my heart I have to say that this is like elementary school. It's not enough that your supervisors and managers make your life hell, but your coworkers will, too. HR is a joke. They have the WORST HR rep ever. HR doesn't care about employees.
