Pros

Very friendly people, lots of vacation and personal time so you can do other things. Some jobs are more flexible in how you can use your work time.

Cons

Always in the middle between companies that we represent and the people we sell the products. So, you are always putting out fires. Everyone is underpaid but if you have the leverage, you can get raises. Some have been there for a very long time and others move within 1-2 years.

Pros

My particular manager is great about the whole work-life balance situation - senior management of the company, however, is not. Acosta can be a great place for people to gain some training on the industry.

Cons

Holy nepotism. The concept of 6 degrees of separation definitely goes down to 2 connections when you're inside this particular division of the company. When they let people go, they never let the right people go since they are related or play golf with the right person.

Pros

My particular manager is lenient with our hours, sometimes

Cons

Nepotism. I've never seen so many "friends" at one company. There are a lot of jobs "invented" for friends and family and people who already are currently employed are never considered for these jobs. A lot of employees leave this company to work for clients who will pay more. There is a huge turn-over rate in our customer service area and I believe it's because the employees are treated like slaves. There is too much micro-managing going on in that particular department. There also is a lot of behind the back talking by senior management about employees that is never shared until review time, when it does the least good.
