Pros

They offer some great incentives like bonus pay for commission sales. Flexible schedule if you're doing well in your job. You get an employee discount for your cellphone carrier. They also have really great opportunities for moving up the ladder quickly. A lot of the people who are Client Reps seem to have recently graduated from college so you're working with a lot of people who are mostly still in their early 20s.

Cons

If you're not a salesy-person, this job isn't for you. If you don't like making people feel like they have to buy stuff, don't take this job. I do feel like the hiring process and application I found on Indeed.com was a little misguiding. I thought my role was going to involve more of an office-setting but the bulk of my job was going out to various Sam's Club locations to upgrade people's cell phone plans, phones, things of that nature. While it's great to help people save money, I felt that this field of work just wasn't for me.

Pros

* Management was friendly * They gave me my single paycheck without trouble * Positive management but they do run a scammy practice

Cons

* Positions are misleading- it consists of dressing up formal (in a suit or dress) and going to places like Walmart and Costco to sell cell phones for all the different phone companies like Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile as well as selling for Dish Network * People going to shop at these places don't like to be bothered and will instantly write you off * You are guaranteed a payment of $400 a week, but if the commission is over $400, you just receive the commission. Also, if you never make enough in commission to be greater than 400 in about 2 months, they will likely get rid of you. * During the first interview the lobby will be hella crowded, after about an hour you will meet with Grant Gulledge (very nice guy), and you basically just explain to him that you are interested and he gives an offer for a second interview * The second interview is done by your soon to be peers (who have only been there for (2-3 months), these people are on what they call "level 2" they proved themselves are good sales people and have been promoted. Their position is 60% sales and 40% training and interviewing the new people. * Also, you can never get past "level 3" which I believe they said it was 70% office work like HR, payroll, and interviewing others as well as 30% sales. * They state that their company is a marketing company, but the people who are hired for any other position than the HR, front desk, and the top managers are all doing sales. Your starting position will be "level 1" and you will be doing 80% sales and the other 20% consists of the morning meetings talking about selling strategies * My guess is they hire SO MANY people because hardly anyone will get to the "level 2" position because they will burn out or they won't have good enough sales performance *OH! I forgot to mention, you also are responsible for about 6 hours of computer training consisting of information about each of the cell companies. This is done off the clock, so no payment for that training.

Dear Sir or Madam, We would like to begin by thanking you for sharing your personal experience regarding your time with our company. It is disappointing to hear that your time of employment here at Acquire was less than satisfactory. Gathering from your statements about receiving your single paycheck, referring to job positions as “levels 1, 2, and 3,” and listing some companies we have never done business with, we will assume you worked with us for only one pay cycle (one week). As we can only assume that is the case, there seem to be some areas of our business that were misinterpreted during your short time here. To keep this response from being lengthy, we have chosen to not address each of those discrepancies at this time. While many of these miscommunications are accurately defined in our website, we would like to apologize for any miscommunication that may have happened in person on our end. You are correct, in regards to our 2nd interview being conducted by Lead Trainers within our company. Allowing them to be a part of the interview process is our way of developing well-rounded employees and building a team that knows how each aspect of our business operates. Regardless of the amount of time someone has been employed by our company, each trainer has worked very hard for their achievements/promotions/recognition. While some of our trainers have been employed by us for up to a year, isn’t it exciting to know that receiving a company promotion within a short amount of time, such as 2-3 months, is accessible? We regret that you were not provided a better understanding of each aspect of our company during your time at Acquire, however, we would like to wish you the very best in your future endeavors. Kind regards, Acquire Human Resources
