Growth is dependent on your previous role and what you can offer with the remaining departments. You could stagnate long term if you don't fit in anywhere else.

You get paid and you get the bare minimum benefits required by law

Cons

You will be assigned more work than you are paid to handle, consistently. Then you will be asked to help train AI to replace you. Then you will be laid off. I was a loyal employee for 6 years and am soon to be without a job even though their AI model that has been tested for 2 years is still not performing.
