Great team and location, but instability and layoffs loom

My local team and managers are great. The job is close to home. The benefits are decent but not fantastic.

Cons

They are constantly reorganizing—they call it innovation but it’s really instability. They just announced they’re laying off 11% of their workforce after they announced last year that they were laying off 2% (a large portion of their accounting team). They claim AI, but a lot of roles have been offshored to places like Columbia or India. Also S&P just revised its outlook to negative in April.

I truly can’t think of one thing.

Cons

Terrible and you will be let go at any time. They play favorites with money and remote work. They have no morals. Please before interviewing read the bad reviews because they all are true. I would never recommend this company to anyone I know.

Management was inconsistent and often withheld key information, which made the role difficult to navigate. Expectations were unclear, everything felt urgent, and there was little office culture or healthy work-life balance. The environment felt high-pressure, with everything treated as urgent and an expectation to remain available during PTO. Communication and culture were limited, and unprofessional behavior, including negative comments about employees' body size, contributed to an uncomfortable workplace.
