Pros

The interview and offer will likely be good.... but there are too many problems with the company swept under the rug. Don't accept an offer from ActioNet ! The compensation is competitive, but you will never work hard enough to satisfy the leadership. There are company parties that employees can bring their families too... but the CEO is insane, as is her EVP.

Cons

The biggest problem is integrity. The CEO has connections in the government, otherwise the company would not have grown as fast as it has. Unfortunately, ethics and integrity are often overlooked when conducting business. Eventually the dishonesty will catch up with them. Surprising they have not been black balled from bidding in Federal contracts yet. The leadership fires people fairly regularly, so the company is like a revolving door.

Pros

Very forward-looking company - strongly encourages all employees to take full advantage of the generous technical training budget and offers valuable internally managed skillset training as well. Very competitive pay scale and benefits are above average for the IT Contracting industry, promotes from within, and tries very hard to keep good employees.

Cons

As with all contracting firms, employment generally lasts only as long as the current contract and I have only a few days left on this one. ActioNet management is definitely profit minded and focuses intensely on the bottom-line, but they do seem to recognize that profits can only grow where they are watered frequently, given nutrients and abundant sunshine.

Pros

There are no pros to working for this company and please do not believe anything on this site that comes across as remotely positive.

Cons

Management is incompetent and only focuses on enhancing their bottom line. The company does very little to recruit quality employees and the company's salaries are well below the industry average. Most of the projects are severely understaffed and the employees that they have all complain about being overworked and undervalued. The clients constantly complain about the company's poor performance and all of the employees are on edge because they know that there is no sense of security due to the company's poor reputation. Needless to say, staff morale is extremely poor and the current management in place is only hanging on by a thread. On average about three people quit on any given week. Everyone that has ever come into contact with this company realizes that this is a sinking ship! If you're reading this review, please look elsewhere.
