Pros

The job itself is easy, repetitive task every day is true, but what do you expected for a QA tester role? Potentially be a stepping stone for your career (even though the gaming industry is very bad now, good luck!) The environment is very diverse, you could meet people from so many different countries and make connections. Free games from Microsoft if you love video games.

Cons

Growing opportunities are extremely limited, roughly 1 out of 50 will get promoted, and more than often it was only because the person got a better job offer so they left and the position was opened. The majority employee is on the flexible contract, 3 to 6 months is the norm in this company, and 99% of them won't be extended (YES, just like the other review mentioned) if you got really lucky or they really need people because the busy season, you will get extended. The company prefer to hire new people instead of keeping the ones who already know how to do this job, they simply don't care, not to mention all the stress and responsibility for training new employees goes to the language lead and added extra workflow, it's ridiculous imo. Like other review mentioned, they don't care about the quality of your work, they care about the quantity, which is ironic for a QA role, you won't be appreciated if you work really hard to fix a big problem in the game, you will get appreciated if you find 100 tiny and not important issue, Be prepared.
