Very good place to work as a developer

Pros

As a developer the grass is greener here than a lot of places. We get to weigh in very early in the feature definition process and surface oversights and mistakes before it's time for a death march to fix them. The development management is enlightened and given to treating mistakes or failures like lessons rather than reasons to punish people and they go out of their way to get teams to collaborate.

Cons

There really aren't any "cons" to speak of from the development side of the house.

Pros

No micromanagement family like atmosphere you are valued as a person and not treated like number (say in a publicly traded company) Dream Manger program The employees are great and very down to earth open door policy career growth is highly supported tenure employees show love of the job Positive outlook for the company

Cons

Their PTO and sick time are the same so it feels really limited. You start off with only 2 week to cover it all

Pros

Very relaxed work environment. No micro-managing! Everyone is extremely helpful and friendly. Get your job done and no one bothers you. Great break room for lunch. You feel like you are at home. Its nice to be able to step away and enjoy lunch. It really allows you to recharge for the rest of the day.

Cons

Drive is a little far for me but working here knowing I don't hate or dread going in makes it so very worth it.
