No Longer the 'Best Place to Work'

Pros

Great benefits for health insurance and 401k

Cons

The culture of the company has steadily declined over the last 3 years as they shift from an employee focused culture promoting a work-life balance to a profits only culture. Developers input on estimates for project work are ignored or not sought at all that some employees are now being mandated to work overtime/weekends to complete work with unrealistic timelines. This truly used to be be the 'Best Place to Work' that you felt like you were part of a community, but no longer. If you're looking to be stressed and burnt out, apply for a job here.

Pros

Good work life balance for most positions, great culture, opportunities for promotion, great benefits.

Cons

Some of the positives can be reduced by "manager discretion". That is more rare but still possible.

Pros

- They truly do treat employees very well with great benefits, culture, and hybrid/remote work options. - I appreciate the emphasis on DEIB. Unfortunately this topic has been politicized, but I think it’s important to recognize what each individual contributes and how best to listen to and support all. - Opportunities to hear directly from upper management is appreciated (lunches and town halls).

Cons

- We can provide feedback, but it seems like that feedback is not always valued or contemplated. - Vacation time could be improved. - Certain departments seem to get preferential treatment over others.
