      I like working with my colleagues, the modern technology and computers they've supplied for us to use. They are family oriented, and have opportunities for advancement.

      Adams Publishing Group, and specifically Skagit Publishing, is great place to grow as a journalist.

      Pros

      I enjoy the team approach we take in covering Skagit County and its unique local communities. That's necessary in part because we have a small, tight-knit newsroom staff. Nevertheless, managing editors treat reporters with respect, giving them space to do their jobs instead of micromanaging them.

      Pros

      Employees are very dedicated to their work. Everyone gets along well. People cover for each other to make up for staffing issues. Benefits aren't top notch, but are pretty good.
