      Pros

      Excellent archaeological experience. The Goddards provide a working environment that facilitate both science and learning.

      Cons

      Necessarily isolated work. You got to go to where the work is and that's often in the middle of nowhere.

      I got to work with underserved students, assisting them with getting their degree.

      Cons

      Very traditional, centralized management structure. Upper administration did not take students or employees into consideration when making decisions.
