Felt morally wrong

Pros

-Lots of parties/celebrations, good for recent grads -Standard pay for an entry level job

Cons

- You're essentially required to lie to candidates all day about the availability of jobs, what they actually pay, fake job postings, pretty much everything. Many of these candidates are people seriously trying to get by who will drive quite some distances for a made-up job you sold them just to put them in the company database. You will be admonished if you don't do this. -Heavy emphasis on metrics -Long hours. It would be virtually impossible to hit metrics as a new recruiter without putting in 50-55+ hr weeks. - Your success as a recruiter is almost entirely dependent on how much the BDM's like you, as they have the final say in which candidates will be interviewing.
