      Pros

      Not having to work on the weekend and being able to assist elderly people so the can stay independent at home. I've seen what happens in nursing homes, and they know too. That's why we make convenient for them to stay in the home

      Cons

      Addus is very very messy and unprofessional. You can call them, your supervisor, they supervisor and leave messages for an entire day and still not get a call back. I've been with them for 3 years back and forth. The Home Aides aren't in this for the money or for Addus, the clients need us but Addus needs to be more professional. Like ASAP

      Today was day two of training, zero organization, spent a lot of time waiting for someone to come in and go over things with us, was informed towards the end of the day that we would not be paid for the MANDATORY training and that our background checks had just came in and we needed to get finger printed 45 miles away to be able to start getting paid next week.

      Getting the privilege to help elder individuals that need it while living in the comfort of there own home instead of being in a nursing home

      Cons

      None to say, my experience so far has been awesome, what this company does is thankless
