Pros

Pretty much left me on my own. When I did need help they got on it right away. I turned a 3 month assignment into 15 months with an increase in pay when moving to another department.

Cons

I was told it would turn into a permanent position. Not true. Other temps, form other agencies, were also told the same thing so it could have been the company I worked for.

Declining company with poor management

Pros

One of the only reasons was the same level colleagues I got to work with each day in the corporate office. Although motivation and leadership was non-existent, the relationships created with my fellow colleagues were strong and kept me motivated during me tenure.

Cons

The management side of the organization is mediocre at best. Organizational wide goals are not communicated effectively or efficiently, leading to chaos and confusion. The wrong behavioral traits and attitudes are rewarded, resulting in resentment, disrespect, and mistrust in the lower levels of the organization. Corporate headquarters is segregated into the back-office functions in one location and all senior-level management and above in another downtown location. I've never seen such ignorance in the message that sends to all lower level employees - that their time and commutes are LESS IMPORTANT than executive level management. Adecco is now in the midst of declining sales, layoffs, and a bleak outlook from Wall Street and its own investors.

We hear you and have elevated your concerns to our senior leadership team. Reviews – good and bad – are important to us because they keep us in check and make us a better place to work. They also help us focus on what we’re doing right and remind us to appreciate Adecco's constructive, progressive culture. While we understand that no workplace is a perfect fit for everyone, we take these reviews to heart. To put it simply, we really want everyone who works at Adecco to love what they do, even if that's a tough thing to live up to.
