As a contractor or temporary worker, you will manage them on managing you or their internal processes. I had to call them every week to process my time card. And when I had travel expenses, I had to submit, then call the local office to have them approve before the expenses could move through their system. I never heard from the local offices unless they wanted to know if there were opportunities to provide additional resources to the client. And heath benefits are terrible!!!! Will never work through this company again. There are other temp/contract companies who actually care about the people they employ - this is not one of them. So unless you are desperate, I would find other avenues or vendors for employment.

Lack of career growth and poor compensation. Once pay is reasonable and fair, other things become important: recognition, respect, challenging work, opportunities for development… the feeling that a job is more than just a job.
