Pros

Adecco is a large organization that has a number of career tracks depending on your interest. One of the other great things is that you could potentially relocate to various places around the U.S. (and world for that matter) and still stay employed with the organization.

Cons

I never felt like the most Sr. Management was interested in the local markets. That's to say, in the two years that I worked for them, I did not once have leadership above the RVP level visit our local office. This, for me and the recruiters that worked for me, was a bit disappointing. The only other issue if you like feeling connected to the company you work for was that with such a large organization, people can get lost in the crowd. Local management was awesome, but in the big scheme of things, you knew that you were but a small entity on a large island.

Pros

The staff at Adecco is very friendly and work with you in order to ensure you are satisfied with your temporary assignment.

Cons

The amount of assignments you receive are lacking. One assignment will end and you may not receive another long term position for two weeks. This gap is tough when you are living check to check. I'd say this is the case for most temporary workers for Adecco from my experiences. The staff has explained these gaps may be caused by the economy slowing down and the time of year. The only thing they can offer is small one to two day assignments moving boxes of files around. Overall I am not impressed and am looking for other temporary agencies to work for until I have completed my B.S. in Business administration

Pros

Adecco was great to help find a job IF (BIG IF there) you stay on top of them. They have a ton of people trying for a few jobs. You really have to stay fresh in their minds. But I worked in their office as an assistant before I was placed elsewhere. They can get really annoyed if you aren't ready and willing to get up and go when they call you!! There was a wide variety of job opportunities available. They even offered on site training and testing to help you find something compatible with your skills and talents!

Cons

They have a ton of people trying for a few jobs. You really have to stay fresh in their minds. But I worked in their office as an assistant before I was placed elsewhere. They can get really annoyed if you aren't ready and willing to get up and go when they call you!! The ladies in the office somewhat contradicted each other. One lady said that she could tell by how a person walked in the door whether they were a quality candidate! SERIOUSLY!!! The other lady said that everybody should get to do the tests and see what they could do.
