Pros
The good thing about this job is you make good money! You get paid weekly. You get a few 10-15 minute breaks before and after lunch, helps you not quit the job. Some of the supervisors are okay and they do what’s best, others just walk back and forth down the line with no comprehension at all.
Cons
The bad thing about this job is you are over worked and underpaid. Some jobs are cool others are overwhelming depending on which line you work on. If you make a mistake supervisors stare at you instead of helping you. If you have a good suggestion for a line supervisor they brush it under the rug depending on what shift you work. You will stand a lot, your hands will have to adjust to pain when you first start working. They pretend to be family oriented. They lie about not knowing the schedule. Your shift could be up high in production numbers and the big boss Sam will still make first shift over work. Also, if you confront him about it he says it’s not intentional, but he does it because of the next shifts call offs. Do not get involved in ANY DRAMA, 2nd shift is horrible with spreading lies and rumors. HR IS NOT your FRIEND. It’s probably 2 HR employees that are actually nice. Other than that, they don’t take the time to know you, but when they have family events they smile in your face and want to take pictures for social media. There have also been a lot of great workers that have lost their jobs due to line supervisors nitpicking with them constantly. The line supervisors are allowed to talk to you crazy and if you say anything back HR will not ask what happened they will side with the aggressor and fire the victim.
