Pros

Working at Advansix has truly been a rewarding experience. From day one, I’ve felt valued as part of the team. The company invests in its people and fosters an environment where professional growth is encouraged and supported. Whether it's through leadership development programs, regular feedback sessions, or opportunities to take on new and challenging projects, Advansix really makes it clear that they care about your personal and career development. The work culture is collaborative and inclusive. It’s rare to find a place where everyone is genuinely supportive of one another’s success. There’s a real sense of camaraderie here, and I’m proud to be part of a team that thrives on mutual respect and innovation. The leadership team is transparent, approachable, and always willing to listen. There’s a focus on open communication, and it’s clear that they’re always looking for ways to improve. I’ve also been impressed with the company’s commitment to work-life balance, which is important to me. It’s refreshing to work at a place where you don’t feel like you’re sacrificing your personal life for your job. Overall, Advansix is a fantastic place to work—whether you’re looking to develop your skills, contribute to meaningful projects, or just be part of a company that cares about its people. I couldn’t ask for a better place to grow my career, and I’m excited about what the future holds here!

Pros

None to speak of at this time. Looking to get out ASAP.

Cons

Site safety does not take people working at the plants safety serious. They call in Hazmat and report the site is under Shelter In Place, which it should have been for a sulfur fire and cloud. However, they did not sound the Shelter In Place alarm. Falsely replying what emergency officials want to hear, however, afraid of what Erin Kane, CEO will say to plant management.
