Professional Environment
Pros
This is one of the best call centers to work at, as it has a very professional environment, unlike the other call centers. Your money is always on time. The hourly rate is 470/hr for new agents, and you get a $50 increase the first 6 months, and within a year again. You also get annual increase on your salary. You get $225 towards your Lunch on your proxy. You get hired on spot. You can be absent for two days without notice, and not be fired for it. You can work here and go school, once you past probation. They are very accommodating of your school schedule.
Cons
I was working on the AT&T account, and I never met targets ever, to get commission. The targets are very UNATTAINABLE!!! Whenever you get bad surveys from customers even when you didn't deserve it, it will affect your potential to get commission. Commission is capped at $15,000. Lunch lines are verrrrrry loooooong, and you only get two 10 minutes break and one 40 minutes Lunch which doesn't make sense when you have to join long lines. The floor is often times loud when people yelling in your ears, and loud music playing. The headphone is very low, and you can barely hear the customers. I never liked the fact that AT&T wanted you to sell to customers that are mad, and have problems that you can't solve, and they expect you to pitch on every single call even when you already know customers are going through financial difficulties, and can't pay their bill, and top of that, you are expected to have your handle time at 12 mins when customers have all sorts of problems that they expect you to solve. Most people don't make commission. Be prepared to be micromanage d and drilled by different people over your back, when your aren't meeting target. I signed up for CSR position, only to know that ended up doing sales too. Your shift is changed on a regular basis, and you are expected to adjust to changes with immediate effect.
