Pros

- Part time Benefits include: PTO, Health/Dental/Vision Insurance, 401k, Paid Holidays, Paid Volunteering - The interview process was online and you created videos that you could retake, so the process was less nerve wracking. After you’ve been selected to go further you do another interview. I interviewed with Kilee who made me so comfortable and at ease. - Super nice people who are amazing at communication and make you feel excited and appreciated! - 25 - 29 hours - Inclusive and welcoming environment - Opportunities to move up, they hire 50% within the company

Cons

- The interview process can be lengthy as you have to do a bank simulation as well. - When training, you need to be full time for a couple weeks.

Pros

-a lot of well meaning people start working here.

Cons

-HR is not trustworthy -constant harassment from membership that is never addressed. -colonialist dress code -very little training with high expectations for competence and low tolerance for error -your merit increases and job retention depend on selling loans and credit cards -no plans or care in regards to environmental impact or climate change -donates money and volunteer hours to organisations that routinely discriminate against marginalised communities - requires access to monitor employees social media activity -multiple confirmed employee testimonials of favoritism, racism, sexism, homophobia and transphobia are overlooked (with many cases ending in the perpetrator receiving a promotion.) - corporate “we are family” rhetoric.

Thank you for taking time to provide us with your feedback. We value honesty and want you to know that your feedback has been reviewed. These examples are certainly not the culture we want or the experience we hope Advia team members have. We do not tolerate harassment, discrimination or lack of inclusion and act on any communicated concerns. We love that our employees are passionate about a wide variety of social missions and charitable causes! As an organization, we have an emphasis on making an impact in our communities through volunteerism and advocacy. This year, we are prioritizing food insecurity, housing insecurity, transportation insecurity and access to financial literacy. As we recognize that there are so many other areas that deserve resources, all Advia team members are given paid volunteer hours to use to serve the social missions that are most important to them. We also recognize and appreciate that member interactions can be unpredictable. As such, we have a clear abusive member process and take action as necessary when the need is communicated. We recognize that this does not address all of your concerns. We encourage you to please reach out to directly discuss this with our Vice President of Human Resources.
