Pros

Good benefits, free pop, open office space.

Cons

People most deserving of promotions are often passed by people with not as much education or experience. Management promotes based on who kisses up to them. Poor training on new jobs. Founders have a strong “no gossip” policy but one former coworker in my department gossiped frequently and never got punished. Some people get away with everything, while other employees are blamed for everything. Small pay raises for promotions and taking on extra duties.

Pros

You never had to work late as everyone ran for the door at 5. That is it!

Cons

Too many to list, but watch your back if you are not related to someone who already works here and has your back. It is like "Mean Girls" and they love the drama here. Management is petty and mean behind closed doors, and treats the employees like they are in 5th grade. Micromanage much??? So happy to have put in my 3 years, got my licenses and moved on to the real world. Still wish I had not worked there, terrible for making me feel like a failure and a loser, on purpose. At least the bully finally got fired, but too little too late. Everyone knew about it but everyone was afraid to do anything about it. It is all about who you are related to.

Pros

Their overall mission statement does reflect most of the employees of the company when I worked there. There were alot of fantastic, hard working people, who knew that it takes everyone to get the job done. AE contributes alot to promoting healthy lifestyle, integrity and dedication. They also volunteer within the community to help others in need. AE did alot of interaction between departments so everyone could get to know one another. AE does alot of promoting within the company and will give most an opportunity to transfer to a different department. My last year there is when they started to integrate alot more training and a very long interview process. I would say that IF your department worked together and helped one another respectfully it would have continued to be a good place for me to grow. One of their biggest goals they always told us was "its ok to make mistakes. Mistakes happen when you have alot on your mind and if you have some tough personal issues in your life then its hard to function properly at work."

Cons

The biggest problem with a large corporate company is you have too many wolves in sheeps clothing. You end up having to watch your back because someone used you as a scapegoat to climb their way up the "totem pole". When I began in my department there was not any appropriate training and I had to learn alot on my own. When the company began to grown and the structure of the department began to change, the term "working together" did not exist. and be prepared to get a 30 day notice of termination on that mistake you made when things in your personal life weren't' going well, even when you spoke to your supervisor about what was going on.
