Pros

Excellent benefits, supportive management, flexible hours, great company philosophy. Many opportunities for advancement. Diversity is prioritized.

Cons

With any human service company there is always a need for higher livable wages. Many folks need to work more than 40 hours or have a second job to make ends meet. Advocates seems to do its best to increase salary whenever possible.

Pros

Earned time, decent pay, great individuals and co workers, time and a half on holidays, trainings provided, making a difference and helping others

Cons

I found my direct supervisor to be vindictive and spiteful. I was offered a promotion within the company and she effectively blocked me from taking it. English is not a first language for my st employees, therefore it is very hard to communicate. I was hired because of my qualifications to do specific things, but then never allowed to do them. Not a company that works with their employees who may have disabilities. Discouraging because they are supposed to advocate for the disabled.
