Pros

Great hardworking and friendly employees. Health Insurance and 401k. Fun environment to work in if you're passionate about and love aviation.

Cons

Poor culture and management has some serious problems with how employees are treated. They will not hesitate to fire you if they don't like you, regardless of how well you do your job. They fought my unemployment and fabricated information against me. I watched them fire several people before me for what seemed like not fitting in.

Pros

I found the people at Aero Air were the highlight. All were helpful and friendly which is a must in an industry with a lot of stress and pressure to make sure things are done correctly.

Cons

Management lacked the ability and freedom to give raises to hard working, skilled, loyal employees. Employees aren't valued and invested in as they should be. Little opportunity for upward movement. Little to no training offered. Most managers don't have adequate management skills.

Pros

Everyone I worked with was awesome. They are all there because they like helping people and enjoy working with the people they we were contracted to.

Cons

No 401k matching. 2 year contracts for pilots on initial type (full amount of type+hotel+rental car etc until reaching 2 years employment). No electronic flight bag(still have to do jepp, and other nav updates). Annual recurrent training is on your own and un-necessarily painful, it takes roughly 80 hours on a computer, no extra pay for this training as it is expected to be done on shift. NO PAY SCALE, your initial pay will be your pay for the foreseeable future as there are no annual raises.
