fast-growing and great environment

Pros

really proactive place for engineers who are genuinely interested in autonomous driving. The projects are exciting, the company is growing fast, and the benefits are solid — remote work flexibility makes it even better.

Cons

you’re expected to put in hard work, show grit, and keep up with a fast-moving environment. If you’re looking for something easygoing, this might feel intense.

Pros

All of the positive things that you will hear that this company offers is all a mirage.

Cons

No Onboarding or Training Structure Started with zero onboarding, no assigned trainer, and no clarity around tools, systems, or workflows. No Job Description or Defined Role Despite repeated requests, there was no explanation of responsibilities, deliverables, or performance expectations. Lack of Access to Essential Work Areas Could not access key areas (e.g., tractor bays or operational zones) without an escort, making hands-on learning impossible. Disorganized, Crowded Work Environment Cramped office space with no personal workspace. Team members were constantly in meetings, leaving little room for communication or collaboration. Unapproachable & Defensive Management Leadership was vague, dismissive, and resistant to questions or feedback. Requests for clarity or training were met with frustration or avoidance. Toxic "Sink or Swim" Culture Instead of structured support, the expectation was to “assert yourself” with no roadmap or resources. Asking for support was perceived as disengagement. Retaliation for Advocating for Yourself Terminated just days after respectfully asking for training, access, and job clarity. Fired with no warning or performance discussion. Lack of Psychological Safety Raising concerns or speaking up made me feel targeted, not supported. Conversations left me feeling uneasy and unwelcome. Misleading Hiring Process The interview process and onboarding pitch painted a picture of a collaborative, supportive environment — which was not the reality. No Explanation for Termination Dismissed with no documentation, no feedback, and a vague excuse about “business needs” changing — after just 3 days.

Pros

Still trying to figure out

Cons

The leadership team appears to take a highly controlling approach, with very limited space for independent decision-making. From what I observed, there seemed to be a pattern of close oversight, emotionally reactive responses, and a noticeable emphasis on asserting authority. In my opinion, the leadership style lacked emotional awareness and created a tense and unpredictable work environment. This made collaboration difficult and appeared to have a negative effect on overall team morale. Prospective employees should carefully consider whether this kind of environment aligns with their working style before joining.
