- Up-beat environment - Young people - No experience necessary - Sales Commissions (for those in sales) Aerotek is a great place to work if you are interested in Sales on a career in recruiting. If you are interested in sales the opportunity for advancement is there. If you are interested in a recruiting career then this is good place to get experience. Just don't let management know that you are using this as a stepping stone. If you are an Administrative assistant it is a good place to gain experience and then move on.

Cons

For Administrative Staff -Career advancement is extremely limited - Professional development is non existent - Work load is intense and pay is low.

Aerotek has a great company culture. They are very concerned with their employees' well being and have lots of corporate programs in place to make sure that everyone is happy. They provide you the opportunity for advancement as long as you are willing to put the work in needed to succeed.

Cons

If you aren't motivated and ready to work you won't fit in with the progressive and motivated culture that Aerotek employees encompass.

Pros

office outings are fun, you'll rarely get bored because most jobs are pretty different. If making money is your motivation you'll do fine. Lots of opportunity for lots of money to be made.

Cons

There is absolutely no work/life balance. You will work 60 hours a week without overtime and feel guilty for leaving before anyone else. Recruiters are seen as expendable and when someone leaves or gets fired it's like they were never there. Everything is sales and money focused. If you don't want to do sales and/or are not money driven this is not the place for you. The nature of the business requires people to be treated as a commodity.
