Some of the employees are truly great

If you check the responses to the reviews, they all occurred in July of this year. There are also several "5 star" reviews done just this year right before the company responded to the reviews from 2017 to 2020. This would indicate employees were asked to write reviews to inflate the companies overall score. The con here is exactly that, a con. They want you to believe this company promotes a positive environment when it actually cultivates one of negativity.

Thank you for your review. Please know that this review was written about Aerowave when it was under prior ownership. Aerowave was sold in early 2021, and it is now under new management. Our new Cause is to build a company that matters to our customers, our employees, and our vendors. As you put it, we cannot support our customers without supporting our employees, and we are extremely focused on hiring and promoting the right people who share our Core Values.

I spent 6 years at Aerowave and have not regretted a moment. Not every small business makes you feel like family, but I can tell you that Aerowave does. From the start till the end, I had the support I needed to be successful! The training is ongoing and anytime you need help they are there for you. They will answer your questions but keep in mind they will not answer the same question over and over. They will in return challenge you to find the answer which helps you grow and learn and to be self-reliant which is key in sales! Aerowave's employees are a fast paced, goal orientated group of individuals that are hungry to succeed and they have a track record of doing so. My coworkers were willing to help each other out even if it meant they had to take a few moments from what they were working on which is hard to find in most workplaces. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a promising career and especially if they are looking for a company that will show them they care!

Working at Aerowave was a great experience overall. The leadership is amazing, and the team is incredibly supportive — always willing to help when needed. There’s no micromanagement or unrealistic quotas, and you gain valuable exposure to the telecommunications industry, with occasional opportunities to travel and visit clients. If I ever get the opportunity to work at Aerowave Technologies again, I would definitely take it! Also the CEO Will Young is a GREAT GUY!!

Cons

There’s limited room for growth within the Inside Sales role, and responsibilities tend to shift frequently without clear communication. Day-to-day expectations aren’t always well defined, and it’s common to take on tasks outside your core scope. On top of that, the compensation plan changes from time to time, which can make consistency and long-term planning a challenge.
