Thank you for taking the time to write this review! We have a strong commitment to helping families in need, and that means being available whenever and wherever they need us. We understand that this commitment means unpredictability in hours worked. We are transparent and upfront about on and off peak work schedules – some weeks may require longer hours, while other weeks require fewer hours. This is why we offer overtime and holiday pay to compensate for the variability. We also offer paid administrative, training, and marketing hours for off peak hours that aim to improve our field teams and our presence in a local market. We recognize that our business is unique; it is also one that requires a different type of lifestyle. We appreciate your candid comments and are actively looking for ways to invest more into our field teams.

Pros

Easy work. Low Expectations. Great coworkers.

Cons

If you show even a small amount of pride in your work, the executives will take extreme advantage of you. Workplace retaliation is rampant here, and no one does anything. The executives are not here to help the employees, they are here to grow the business; but this has lead to the worst numbers we have had in 3 years. Morale is at an all-time low, and unless the executive team changes their management styles, things will only get worse and they will lose great employees that care about what they do.

Pros

Having the opportunity to help families on a daily basis. Aftermath is more than the industry leader in bio-hazard remediation. We are the industry leader in helping families through traumatic events. There is not a day that goes by that we are not helping families in a profoun way. Knowing that you are making a difference for families is the most rewarding part of my job.

Cons

Wishing you could do more is probably the hardest thing to deal with at Aftermath. While helping families is the best part of my job, seeing the number of people on a daily basis that have suffered a loss or traumatic event keeps you wishing that you could do more for them.
