      Great team - bad executive management

      Pros

      Interesting, challenging work. Initially collaborative culture. Fascinating application that requires deep knowledge across engineering disciplines and can only be successful through team effort. Initially balanced and informed approach to development process.

      Cons

      Micro-managing senior executives that torpedoed capable team. Unreasonable expectations and inappropriate and uninformed edicts from head office on process, design and management. Inconsistent and untrustworthy messaging from senior management

      Pros

      Most of the people are very nice to work with. Management lets you do your job - not much in the way of micromanaging. Work/life balance a definite plus. If you're looking for a more relaxed environment, this is it.

      Cons

      Not enought growth opportunities due to the fact that many people have been here a very long time. Compensation/benefits could be better. Company has a very strong set of values and expected behaviors. However, some employees seem to get away with not adhering to them.
