Pros

Safety conscious. No questions asked for weather turn downs. Some management are phenomenal, some are mediocre at best. 7/7 schedule.

Cons

Pay. This is my third year without a raise. Now, because of the Union, all the pilots will be in a pay freeze until 2020 - which is two more years without a raise. You have to deal with the greedy pilots who reject contracts because they want more. For example, Air Methods offered guaranteed 3% raise for the next three years, plus 3% back pay for work and 5% back pay for OT. Because the contract was rejected, now we get nothing. Several pilots are going to the Airlines. Pay is way better, and after the first few years the work/life balance is way better.
