Pros

Flight medicine, what can be better, autonomy, good people to work with. Great schedule.

Cons

Employee morale down across the board, some places working with sorely outdated medical equipment and aircraft. Very poor management that seems to falter from the top down. Pay is the biggest complaint, pay for medical crews are the lowest in the industry when compared to private ambulance, hospitals, fire dept etc, it should be the other way around or at least comparable. And 2 letters that don't exist: OT, they do everything they can to get away with not paying you a fair wage.

Horrific Experience

Pros

Honestly, all of the pros that I thought would be there really aren't.

Cons

This company will drain 10 years off your life in 2-3 years. The stress from inept management, constantly ever-changing rules and policies, the left hand that doesn't know what the right hand is doing, a culture of "enrich the executive management team and shareholders and screw the employees" is rampant throughout the organization. Patient care and safety standards come after profits and business interests. I can go on and on. There are plenty of other places to go work - this company will suck the life right out of you.

Pros

Helping to save lives. Hours were good. Training was great. Systems were easy to learn. Not much else for a pro.

Cons

Job was stressful, quality sucked. Management was horrible. If you weren't on their good side, hard to move up. Very clicky group to work with. Employees with lots attitudes and unwillingness to work together.
