      Pros

      Air Methods is a great company to work for. They have great incentives for their employees, inspirational videos that play over the monitors in each department, and most of the employees are very nice.

      Cons

      I didn't care for management in my department. They had favorites.

      Horrible middle and upper management, no communication from anyone above base leader, employees are just numbers on a sheet, low morale with zero effort in change

      48 hours shifts, 6 days off. Down time between flights to relax. Lots of availability for overtime. Able to pick up shifts in other states and regions.

      Cons

      Incredibly hot in the summers. Low wages. Big company to which you're mostly just a number. High turnover rates leaving fewer seasoned clinicians.
