There is slim to no opportunity for advancement unless you have an engineering background and are male. Woman are poorly misrepresented in higher positions and unfortunately because of the older male population that are "sticking it out" until they are are eligible for retirement the company is letting a lot of talented woman walk out.

The industry, it engineer culture to over analyze everything to death and it's slow reaction If you are young, creative, ambitious, react fast, leadership attitud and a person who hate to loose shut yourself before working here.. The fact is that Air products is num 4 out of 4 and for most of management like it that way. If you like slow pace 8 to 5 job looking at your process only instead of looking the whole business you would like it.
