      Positive, lots of opportunities with good training and development

      Pros

      Lots of opportunites wih solid pay. Excellent chances for training and professional development. Lots of global locations which allow travel and work postions in different countries. Compnay is proactive in pursuing attempts at becoming more efficienct and competitive.

      Cons

      Some inefficiencies and beauracracy which can be frustrating at times. Less competitive than other engineering companies particularly within the manufacturing aspect.

      Pros

      You will meet some really great folks; the benefits can't be beat (insurance, vacation) and it is an interesting mix of business, government policy and international arena.

      Cons

      The company can bleed you dry if you're one of the better employees. The 80/20 rule seems to apply. Those who half-ass it get to really enjoy their vacation and benefits. The hard workers will be chained to their blackberries on weekends and vacation, if they get to use all of their vacation time. Management can be crass and very egocentric and myopic.
