I started working at Airgas right before the holidays and as soon as I started it was extremely negative from the beginning. Your raises and bonuses are decided on a group level rather than individual and there were so many employees there that simply did not do their job. The issue is there are no rewards for doing your job and no actions taken against you for not doing your job. Just negative meeting after meeting from management threatening our bonuses, raises and tempting me to suggest to them to fire the bad employees everytime they said "what can we do to reached our goals?" With the mixing of the insane micromanagement that solved nothing, constantly telling us that Airgas might get rid of our department as a whole, I just lost all motivation to work there. I never argued with management personally about anything but my co workers did and I observed how both parties handled it and it just turned me off quickly, everyday.
