Pros

Always have a job to come to. 40+ hrs weekly. Average insurance and ok bonuses.

Cons

Airgas evaluation at start date says hire within. (Work hard and learn lots and you'll be somewhere different soon.) More like, get ready to pucker up and we'll see how good you kiss. Over 30 new management trainees hired (not to mention outside of the company) to learn the basis of gas movement and sales. Probably never worked in the gas industry in their live. Hey management, what happened to hire within? Not the first that us AIRGAS associate's seen this crap before.

I enjoyed all of the training provided by Airgas. They were a forward thinking company when I worked there. They also offered great benefits and a fun team environment.

Cons

The cost of living raises weren't always enough to keep up with inflation.
