Pros

Exciting product, great team, and management almost always says "yes" to requests for resources.

Cons

CEO pursuing shiny new AI things over core business (which may not be a con to all employees), AI mania in full swing.

Pros

Some talented peers at the individual contributor level * Opportunity to learn resilience quickly (you’ll need it)

Cons

Extreme micromanagement—little trust in employees to do their jobs * Lack of support from leadership; managers tend to protect themselves rather than enable their teams * Culture of throwing subordinates under the bus instead of coaching or developing talent * Clear favoritism in opportunities, recognition, and territory assignments * Constant shrinking or shifting of territories, making it difficult to build sustainable pipeline or long-term success * No clear go-to-market vision or consistent strategy from leadership * Unprofessional management behavior and inconsistent expectations * Poor work-life balance; high pressure with little regard for sustainability * Challenging environment for employees with families due to lack of flexibility and understanding

Pros

* Great coworkers, very friendly and highly competent. * Office is nice and well-maintained

Cons

The company is either going through growing pains or a little stuck on a plateau. Leadership knows this and has gone all in on AI as a potential solution. It makes for a strange juxtaposition where the company feels large and stable but is acting like a small, unstable startup in many ways. I think they're generally playing optimally (leadership, with the company's direction, that is) but they need to not take the solid foundations of the company for granted, the stuff that makes all the money.
