Pros

I have met some of the most talented and hard-working people at Airtame. Your colleagues care about your well-being, and your work-life balance is on point. The technology is robust and exciting. There is a market and a place for the products that Airtame is making. Collaboration is working really well.

Cons

Due to a lack of long-term planning and risk mitigation, Airtame has hired and fired in waves. As a result, you might greet new colleagues one month and then experience layoffs the following month. The company is relying a lot on a few key employees who are overworked and the company have not been able to relieve them, leading to growing fatigue amongst specialists. Being a startup/scaleup, most leadership doesn't have any experience outside of Airtame. There has been a lot of turbulence in the management team with many changes at the C-level. Salary is below the industry average, and benefits are abysmal.

Airtame Response

As you have mentioned, Airtame is a startup who is scaling into a larger company. With this, many changes and ideas we put into place work, and others simply do not. We do take pride in the areas outlined in your “pros” section. Culture and camaraderie have always been very important aspects at Airtame. We know we have a great product and are excited for it to continue to grow within our markets. With being a startup, we know that we can always improve on how we hire, promote, and support our team members. Manager training is currently on the forefront of our upcoming projects. We fully believe that support, growth, and inclusion comes from the top down. We cannot rely on a single employee to be the knowledge holder of one area. We are encouraging delegating tasks, providing more support on work load, and we are even re-evaluating all Roles and Responsibilities for each employee to ensure tasks are distributed properly so that we can prevent burn out. We do wish these were areas we learned sooner, but we are happy we learned them. As they say, hindsight is 20/20. With each experience we are able to make improvements at Airtame that will lift us up to be leaders within our market. Not just with our product, but with our culture, benefits, and compensation. We thrive off of all feedback and want to take every opportunity possible to hear these out, take a step back, and brainstorm how we can change for the better. We thank you for your honest feedback and wish you all the best.

Pros

High levels of satisfiers, responsibility and achievements being central from experience. Nice normal mood level.

Cons

Some company policies, and at times working conditions, not ideal. Internal follow-up on projects lacking which sometimes shows.

Pros

Interesting and fun place to work at making a great product.

Cons

Some of middle management and seniors are more difficult to work with than it's worth and the company is too small to get around them.
