      The past 2 global heads of people left after 6 months and 2 months respectively - huge red flag right there. In my own team, the manager often passes down the stress from the top, as a result it feels like I'm constantly walking on eggshells every single day at work. There's pressure on the newbie to look all hyped up and enthusiastic, but my advice in case you do join us that you'll have a better chance at surviving if you find the right people to commiserate with. If you look carefully at the recent article on Airwallex blog from the CEO about attracting and retaining talent, 7 out of 10 paragraphs are just money money money, and the remaining 3 are fluff about making an impact - but make no mistake, once you join you're just another dispensable cog who won't get much in terms of recognition or respect. Just hold on to the money and hope that's enough! Don't join this company if you're looking to be treated with a little respect or if you're looking for more than just decent compensation.

      Pros

      Airwallex has a fascinating product and the knowledge and the people to be really successful. The pay is market rate. The work is cross-collaborative, international (which I like) and interesting

      Cons

      Burn out, stress, expectations and too many centralized controls, especially around hiring and promotions

      Fake Perfect 5 stars reviews by Recruitment!!!!

      Pros

      There is high calibre people in the business but this place is really struggling.

      Cons

      Just don't believe the perfect reviews. There is a fundamental culture issue at Airwallex. Leadership and Talent are very scripted up on handling the objection. They won't explain specific areas that the company is doing poorly and what the plan is to fix it. Product works but the roadmap is not focused and delivery + execution is not a strength... probably because of the constant rotation of staff.

      Thanks for your review however your title is absolutely not accurate. The Talent team (of which I sit in) does not post fake reviews and has never posted fake reviews. I'm sorry to hear your concerns around culture and this is something we are constantly monitoring and iterating on.
