Pros

Akamai is one of the best companies when it comes to work life balance. The perks are also good. The Bangalore office has a lot of amenities like cab, free meals, etc. As internet will grow forever, Akamai will continue to thrive in the industry

Cons

Tech stack is a little outdated. Most of the UI applications are still running on angular js. Only if the support for a framework is stopped then they think of upgrading it. Management takes a lot of time to come up with roadmap. Sometimes projects are scrapped mid implementation. Feels demotivating sometimes. Compensation is not upto the market standards. It is 40% of the current trend for each title.
