      Pros

      Akamai has a positive, friendly and collaborative culture. Employees have a great attitude and are welcoming to new hires. If you want to work in a place that makes a difference and is technically challenging, Akamai is an excellent choice.

      I have found no cons to working at Akamai.

      Pros

      Exciting in developing new business in Internet Services. Really bring unique value to high-end customers (Top 500). Very advanced technology and deployment infrastructure.

      Cons

      Very challenging. Lack of effective service (HR, Operation) and governance.

      Pros

      Nice benefits and location. some great people to work with..while most seem to have no problem stabbing people in the back or throwing people under the bus. Gaslighting is a true art form within Akamai saw this happen to several people before it happen to me.

      Cons

      Terrible work/life balance, only way to keep up is to take computer home and work evening and weekends including vacations. lack of true opportunities unless part of the good ol boy's club....women not welcome.
