Pros
Company is still a brand name that others respect, stable work environment, decent amount of time off if you can take it, relatively good health plans, work is often interesting and engaging
Cons
Pressure-cooker environment, toxic internal politics, no true vacations (expect to be available 24/7/365), constant downward cost pressure creates a constantly increasing workload, poor documentation of proprietary systems despite their age, 'family/personal-life friendly' atmosphere does not extend uniformly to all departments, pay trends toward lower range of the spectrum unless you leave and come back
