Pros

Very good work/life balance. People are friendly, helpful, and professional. Inter-departmentally, people are responsive and there is a strong desire to work in partnership with one another. Their facilities (particularly the new Acute Care Tower at Highland) are some of the best in the state.

Cons

AHS is going through some significant changes for the better. They are bringing ground-breaking concepts to the forefront. This presents challenges as new strategies and initiatives create communication issues which are constantly being refined. This may cause some frustration for some people as they work the bugs out.

Work life balance is good, flexible options like working from home

Cons

As a new employee, I feel little motivation from my coworkers to work hard or improve things because it feels that there are deep problems at every turn and few people who care to do anything about them. Not a place for ambitious young people who want to make real change.
