Pros

Great benefits. Could be used as a launching pad for another job in tech. Pretty solid schedule flexibility but they have recently required a weekly minimum for workdays in-office.

Cons

The culture continuously goes downhill as they try to rebrand into an "enterprise" platform/company. They require weekly in-office work (with some remote dates) even after the company ran smoothly and successfully with a fully remote workforce for over a year. Higher-up positions are reserved for outside hires and they frequently pass over internal, qualified candidates. They are overly worried about negative Glassdoor reviews and try to negate them with consistent, generic 5-star reviews. It feels like they are more worried about how they look externally than fixing internally. Overall, the company feels unorganized and poorly run. It is difficult to feel inspired here.

Great culture, smart co-workers

Pros

I have worked at Alchemer for almost two years and really appreciate a lot of things about my position. The food and office are great. My co-workers are some of the smartest people I've worked with. And the company culture is great - an innovative, exciting workplace. One issue that's come up in several reviews is diversity and I honestly don't understand it. The teams I work with are all as diverse as you can get in Colorado, in terms of race, gender, age, etc. We have a diversity policy in our handbook and strive to hire as diverse talent as possible. I really don't understand this complaint.

Cons

Alchemer is a fast organization. We want to grow fast, move fast, think fast, and if need be fail fast. That kind of organization isn't for everyone. I like fast organizations though and don't see it as a true con. But if you're wondering about some of the 1-star reviews, I think a lot of it comes back to not being comfortable about our speed.

A burning company is heading to an inevitable crash!

Pros

The benefits are excellent! Good 401K match! Sweet Coworkers!

Cons

Where to start? The CEO needs to be investigated. Or he needs to resign; People do not trust him! Questions are piling up. Everybody is afraid. The leaders cannot be trusted. It's a TOXIC environment. Beautiful people have left the company! The one that remains has done an unforgivable deed to escalate the ladder. The other ones that remained stood quiet and watched the terrifying event that occurred. The employees are now happy there hasn't been an outage for more than two weeks. What does that tell you?
