Good place to work

Pros

Overall this is the best group of people you could ever work with. People are kind, helpful, caring, and want the company to succeed. The culture within the office is great - lots of food, events, games, etc that allow you to get to know people outside of your specific team. unlimited PTO and 401k match are also great.

Cons

the recent acquisition could have gone a lot better. it does seem like the leadership team has learned from these mistakes and intends to not make them again. unfortunately, the damage has been done (as you can see with these horrible reviews below). yes, the acquisition was not done well. but much of the information in these recent reviews from people of the acquired company is just not factual - and spreading misinformation is insulting for us individual contributors that work here.

Pros

As many of you may have experienced, Glassdoor now requires people to post something in order to read reviews. As the CEO at Alchemer, it’s super important that I am listening to feedback about the company, so I am posting something today. I will also share a few thoughts about the company along the way. There are so many things I love about Alchemer. Our customers are amazing and constantly helping us understand more about our industry and about how they engage their customers. Our employees live our values of (a) heart for service, (b) find a way and (c) be curious. They are passionate about our customers and about each other. We have a great management team that is highly aligned and engaged. When people interview with us, they often say “it’s spooky that all of you describe the company and the opportunity in the same way.” I obviously have a lot of responsibility for leading the company and can promise a few things. I will communicate to the company often (currently weekly on Fireside Chats) and will be transparent about the good and hard things that we are facing. If you want to be part of a company where you can have real impact and build things, this is the place for you.

Cons

This is the place for people who want to have an impact and build something with a great team.

Awful, horrible place to work

Pros

The remaining people who work here are amazing, although most are actively looking for new roles outside the company. The recently posted positive reviews are fakes and have been created by HR to pad their Glassdoor reviews.

Cons

Appalling CEO who publicly shames the worker bees in meetings. People are leaving in droves as this once great company has lost any sense of a positive culture and good place to work. A simple search for former Alchemer employees on LinkedIn will be very telling. You will see a pattern that almost all have left since the new CEO took over.
