Pros

I met great co workers and a good general manager

Cons

Everything else. There is nothing positive to say about this place. Fear of getting fired all the time, lies about movement in the company, head office is a joke and doesn't listen to their employees . People leave and move on to better places because dunhill doesn't acknowledge staff and some reason keeps the main problem on and that is why the business is failing. P...

Downward spiral

Pros

Most of the colleagues I worked with, and my manager in particular, were almost always friendly, courteous and fun to work with. The brand itself, its history and heritage, is interesting and a strong pull for most new starters.

Cons

The current CEO operates like a dictator with no interest in the wellbeing of the workforce. The brand is shifting its identity in, in my opinion, the wrong direction. The past 2 years have seen a huge staff turnover, with many formerly loyal dunhill lovers either leaving due to dissilusionment with the brand (my reason) or being forced out. Internal communication is now almost non-existant, and with so many new starters all the time nobody knows where to go for information or help - performing my job became extremely difficult. While the current CEO is in charge I would not recommend working for this brand.

Pros

Amazing brand heritage. Creative Direction has potential to become Luxury.

Cons

No clear brand direction from the top. Lots of highly paid directors. CEO has no belief in the product or design team. Not aware of skills or strengths within own teams. CEO and merchandising are without direction.
