Pros
Lot of technologies to play with. Always changing environment, which give you the opportunity to try and learn new things all the time. Not the super-specialiced kind of shop, engineers are not only allowed but encouraged to touch and gain experience with all the tehcnology stack. Also great personal life balance, lots of advantage in terms of flexibility.
Cons
Very politized, hard to get promoted beyond level 3, poor salary, most of mid-mangars only care about "showing up in the picture" or the trendy fuzzword of the month
